Rwanda - School Administrator (Self funding)

Star School Administrator:Star School is situated on the outskirts of Kigali, Rwanda's capital city. The school is built to accommodate 700 students, both primary and secondary with boarding and day school pupils.

Star school requires a full-time administrator to manage both primary and secondary sections of the school and who is prepared to self-fund their service.

The successful candidate will be a qualified school teacher and will have experience in the management of schools preferably in the UK.
Applicants should have a live Christian faith and be willing to take groups like Scripture Union and to assist the pupils in matters of their faith in conjunction with other staff from time to time.

An ability to communicate with and get on well with pupils will be an advantage. To be able to speak French will also benefit anyone who applies for this position.
Pupils come from across Rwanda and from many different backgrounds. Due to Rwanda's recent traumatic past many young people have challenges which require a sensitive approach.
Star School is a new fast growing community school, new pupils and staff members are arriving regularly and the administrator will be responsible for aspects of management outside the regular daily running of the school.
